Friends of Plattsburgh State Athletics joins together Alumni, Parents, and Friends who, through their financial support, are committed to the success of Cardinal Athletics.
Athletics at SUNY Plattsburgh has a long history of success. Although we are proud of our many achievements and championship teams over the years, we define success in much broader terms.
Success is being able to positively impact the lives of our student-athletes.
In addition, our programs are evaluated on more than competitive excellence; high value is placed on academic achievement and the commitment to community service by our student-athletes.
We believe the major accomplishments of our program cannot be measured; they occur off the field and after graduation when our student-athletes use the skills they've learned in the Cardinal Athletics program to make their mark on the world.

Common Questions
Can I direct my gift to a specific sport?
You may support a specific team or program; however the top priority for Friends of Plattsburgh State Athletics is unrestricted support of the General Fund. Supporting the General Fund gives the Athletic Director flexibility to use your gift to meet our most pressing needs and take advantage of opportunities as they arise.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes! Gifts to Friends of Plattsburgh State Athletics are accepted by the Plattsburgh College Foundation. You will receive a receipt of your charitable gift for tax purposes.
Who do I call if I have further questions?
For specific questions about charitable giving, please call the Plattsburgh College Foundation at (518) 564-2090. For ticket information or to purchase tickets, please contact the Athletics Office at (518) 564-3140.
